The Associated Students of Diablo Valley College

WHO WE ARE

The Associated Students of Diablo Valley College (ASDVC) are the representatives of the DVC student body. As the student government, we develop influences on campus by taking actions on our students’ needs and concerns, allocating funds to student groups and organizations, adopting formal positions on college issues, and participating in College Committees. Any student who meets the membership requirement can join ASDVC.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

ASDVC General Board Meeting of the Spring 2012 semester will be held every Tuesday 2:00 - 4:00 pm in the Student Union Building Conference Room.

Important Dates:
ASDVC Petition Deadline: February 10 by noon (includes Petition Extension Forms)
ASDVC Retreat: (Saturday) February 11, 8 AM-5 PM (SU 204)
ASDVC Meetings: For returners, start January 24, 2-4 PM (204)
1st Official Meeting: For all members, February 14th
Welcome Week Tabling: January 23 – January 26, 10 AM-2 PM (Library Quad, SU Plaza, BFL walkway)
UC Berkeley Leadership Conference: Saturday, February 4th (open to all returning ASDVC members)
March-in-March: Monday, March 5 (leave campus at 7:30 AM, return at 3 PM)
Officer Nominations: March 6 and 13, ASDVC Meeting
Candidate Info Sessions: March 13, 4:30 PM and March 14, 12 PM
Candidate Forum: March 21, 2012 (2-4pm) - SU Plaza
Elections: March 27 & 28, 2012 (in person) in SU 204 and SRC Learning Commons (9Am - 7pm) Bring your Student ID
